PURPOSE
The purpose of our ministry is three-fold:
- Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all. Mark 16:15, “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 7:32a, “And they bring unto him one that was deaf…” Our number one priority is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, praying for souls to repent from their sins and believe in Christ. This includes both the hearing, as well as the deaf who have been neglected for so long.
- To start independent, Bible-believing Baptist churches and ministries. Acts 16:5, “And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.” Matthew 28:19, 20, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Once we win souls, we must be able to bring them to church. We believe in the old-fashioned ways; we want God´s children to serve the Lord in “the old paths”. There are far too many so-called churches that are not true to the New Testament pattern.
- Defend the faith, earnestly contending for sound doctrine. Jude 1:3, “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” 2nd Timothy 4:2, 3 “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears”. We live in a day where there are many voices out there trying to confuse the children of God. He has called us to defend the fundamentals of the faith. We cannot remain neutral to the whims and tactics of the enemy, and must therefore take a proactive role in defending the faith.
